Revlon Parfumerie Autumn Spice

When I first heard about Revlon’s Parfumerie collection, I wasn’t too interested.  I’m pretty sensitive to scents, and I certainly don’t need my fingers smelling like flowers all day long.  However, when I passed by a display of these polishes, I just had to pick up Autumn Spice.  All of the colors were beautiful, and I love autumn scents.  The only thing better would have been Pumpkin Spice!

Revlon Autumn Spice

Autumn Spice is a brown base with red and gold flecks.   It was super pigmented.  I did 2 thin coats here, but if you’re into thicker coats, this could be a one-coater.  I did not add topcoat, I feel like that would cover up the scent.  It dried to a semi-gloss finish.

Aside from the novelty of this being a scented polish, it stands on it’s own as a beautiful fall polish.  Have you tried any of the Revolon Parfumerie’s yet?

Revlon Elusive

Today I have swatches of Revlon Elusive from the Evening Opulence fall collection to show you.

This is a black base with different sizes of teal glitter.  In the bottle, there is some purple shimmer, but that does not translate to the nail.  Shown is 3 coats with 2 coats of Out the Door to smooth everything out.

The formula…left a lot to be desired.  It was kind of thick, very goopy and very streaky.  On the plus side, it dried quickly.  Elusive surprisingly dried to a matte finish, but I did not take include pictures of that because it was a lumpy mess without topcoat.
