So I tried some nail art. I loved this look by The Nail Network, and although it’s more complicated than anything I’m typically willing to try, I decided I had to give it a shot. Well, it didn’t work out so hot. After a couple hours of waiting for the base color to dry, messing it up the first time I tried to put the stickers on and redoing it, I had an acceptable manicure. Then I decided to go for the gold dots. I do not own a dotting tool, but have read that a toothpick will work it it’s place. It doesn’t. I ended up completely messing it up, took the whole thing off and decided to go for something fool proof. So this is what I ended up with.
This is China Glaze Emerald Sparkled with a glitter gradient using Zoya Maria Luisa. Emerald Sparkled is one of my old favorites, and every time I use it I fall in love with it again. Maria Luisa is awesome too, its a gold flake glitter that applies smoothly and lays flat on the nail.
